Four Winners Will Get All-Access Pass and Pre-Convention Class For Free
Professional Photographers of America (PPA) will again award scholarships for its annual convention, Imaging USA.
PPA promotes the importance of continuing education for photographers, as evidenced by its one-of-a-kind online and in-person educational programs, available through PPAedu. Understanding that photographers allocate a certain budget for education each year, PPA will provide a few lucky members with passes to Imaging USA, January 17-22, via the annual PPA Kickstart Scholarship.
PPAedu is providing four full scholarships for Imaging USA including a free pre-convention class, held the three days prior to the January 20-22 convention. Winners will get to choose from available classes for an extra learning boost before Imaging USA officially begins.
“The PPA Kickstart Scholarship is a really exciting way to give back to our members,” said Kristen Hartman, PPA’s Director of Member Value and Experience. “We’re always looking for new ways to assist our members and move the industry forward—what better way than to foot the bill and help a few photographers attend Imaging USA?”
To be eligible, photographers must be a member of PPA in good standing, have previously attended a pre-convention class and have not previously received a scholarship from PPA.
Applications must be submitted by November 6, 2018, and winners will be announced November 19, 2018.
