B&H’s “View From the Top” contest is open until December 2 2018, with $1,000 B&H gift cards headed to the top aerial photographers.
Drone photographers can show off their best work in B&H Photo’s first-ever View From the Top drone photo contest, where the top submission will earn a B&H gift card for $1,000. The contest is open until Sunday, December 2, and there is no limit to how many entries one can submit. Winners will be announced Wednesday, December 12.
The second place winner will receive a $750 B&H gift card, the third place winner a $500 B&H gift card, and the People’s Choice winner (submission with the most user likes) a $100 B&H gift card. The contest celebrates creativity in aerial imaging, which has seen astronomical growth since the late 2000’s thanks to rapid technological advancements in flight controllers, accelerometers, GPS, and cameras. Impressive camera drones are more affordable now than ever.
The submissions will be judged by a panel of seven social media personalities with tech and photography backgrounds. Their decisions will be based on four primary criteria: Creativity of Composition, Subject’s “Wow” Factor, Originality, and Image Quality.
