The Top 50 Destination Photos of 2018 Curated by Junebug Weddings

August 27, 2018 By PhotoContest.org Leave a Comment

On August 27, 2018 Junebug Weddings announced its fifth annual Best of the Best Destination Photo Collection revealing the top 50 destination photos the past year.

Junebug Weddings has been hosting photography contests for the last ten years and its fifth annual Best of the Best Destination Photography Contest brought in over 5,000 image submissions this year from photographers in over 40 different countries. The destination contest accepts engagement, wedding, anniversary, honeymoon and vow-renewal photos, and is judged on how well each photograph captures the love of the couple and the beauty of the destination. The top 50 images comprise the collection.

Three world-renowned wedding photographers assisted the Junebug Weddings team in judging this contest: Mark Pacura, Carey Nash, and Jane Iskra of ISKRA Photography.

“Curating our destination collection always feels like a mini-vacation for our team, and this year’s collection took us around the world and back, multiple times. From Japan to NYC to the Taj Mahal, the 2018 Destination Collection definitely delivers on stunning destinations. The whole judging team worked hard to put together a set of images that represent love in 2018 from around the globe, and I’m so impressed with the results. We hope that this collection inspires couples to pack their bags, see the world, and bring a photographer along to document their adventures. ” says Carrie Schwab, General Manager and Editor in Chief of Junebug Weddings.

Unlike any other wedding photography contest, the Best of the Best Destination Photography Contest gives photographers the ability to be recognized as destination photographers. Junebug is excited to give their members and others in the wedding photography industry a platform to showcase their destination work.

Winning a Junebug Weddings Best of the Best photography contest is one of the highest honors a wedding photographer can receive. It can jump-start a photographer’s career and connect winners to new and exciting opportunities. Acclaimed wedding photographers Fer Juaristi, Chrisman Studios, and Jose Villa have all had winning images in Best of the Best contests.

The next contest that Junebug Weddings will host is its Best of the Best Wedding Photography contest, which opens on November 5th.

The 2018 Best of the Best Destination Photo Contest is sponsored by Wooden Banana, a supplier of high-quality wooden boxes, wooden thank you cards, memory sticks, and albums.
