The Empire State Realty Trust announces its annual photo contest entitled “ESB Moment” with a prize of $ 5,000 in cash

Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: ESRT ) today announced the seventh annual photo contest for those who wish to share a moment in the Empire State Building, an experience that gives title to the call “Empire State Building (ESB) Moment”, with the possibility of winning $ 5,000 . For the first time, the contest will accept contestants not only from the United States, but also from Canada and the United Kingdom. In addition to the Grand Prize, those who submit their images will compete for one of the eight weekly prizes and a prize for the finalist photography of $ 1,500 . The winning images will be part of an exhibition at the new Empire State Building Observatory.

Lovers of the Empire State Building can submit their photo for the contest via Instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #ESBmoment and #contest. You can also send your images through the microsite for the photo contest of the Empire State Building at www.esbphotocontest.com or request a link to send the text “ESBMOMENT” to 811-811 *. The call will be open from 4:00 p.m. EST on Monday, August 13, 2018 until 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, October 5, 2018. Photographs taken inside or outside the building are acceptable.

“A picture is worth a thousand words, what better way to share a special moment in the Empire State Building than with a photographic memory?” Said Anthony E. Malkin , president and CEO of ESRT. “We are excited to share the unique and personal perspectives of those who visit the Empire State Building and give them the opportunity to enjoy their 15 minutes of fame with the exhibition of the winning images in the space of our new Observatory with a value of $ 160 million.”

The votes of the fans will decide eight winners per week on the website, who will receive a thematic bag and an appointment as winners of the week. The eight winners will automatically become finalists and compete for the chance to win the Grand Prix. The names of the winners will be announced during the contest on the microsite and the social networks of the Empire State Building.

Contestants must be over 18 years of age and legal residents of the United States, the United Kingdom or Canada. In www.esbphotocontest.com you can consult the official rules of the photo contest and additional information.
