Mimeo Photos Claims Number One Spot Among Photography Apps in macOS App Store

December 12, 2018 By PhotoContest.org Leave a Comment

Mimeo Photos, the free macOS app, which enables users to create premium quality Photobooks, Cards, and Calendars, secured the Number One Spot among Photography Apps in the mac OS App store, this past weekend. Additionally, the app was highlighted in the Eighth spot overall among Top Free Apps.

Mimeo Photos is dedicated to providing premium quality photo projects to its users across the World. In September of this year, Mimeo Photos announced a partnership and multi-media campaign with world-renowned photographer and industry icon, Nigel Barker, as its new Creative Director. The brand attributes much of the new, top ranking and continued success to their work with Barker.

“Nigel Barker has helped Mimeo Photos communicate our brand story and reach consumers that are looking for quality products and experiences,” commented John Delbridge, CEO, Mimeo. “We are proud to have secured the rank of #1 photo app, the #8 top free app overall, and to offer unparalleled projects and products to mac OS users.”

Earlier this month, the brand conducted a global photography contest, calling for users around the world to enter and share images of their city, in the “My City” campaign. The campaign was led by Barker, which culminates in an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from Nigel in a master class.

“Mimeo Photos is a fabulous app that gives everyone the opportunity to publish their imagery; and I know first hand what it means to a photographer and see your work not just in a digital format but in print – it means forever,” said Barker. “Our ‘My City’ contest was a no-cost opportunity to showcase talent across the world, and users are able to use the app at no-cost, as well. I am so thrilled to be able to help share such a remarkable platform for photographers and photo-lovers across the world. It is no surprise that this app has reached the #1 rank in photo apps.”

Mimeo Photos is available globally as a free download in the macOS App Store.

Mimeo Photos enables Apple macOS users to create premium quality Photobooks, Cards, and Calendars through a wide variety of customizable themes, layouts, and sizes directly within the Apple ecosystem. As Apple’s longtime print partner, Mimeo Photos has elevated this core offering to ensure that the creative and design needs are met for all customers.
