Great American’s Photo Contest Returns for Third Year, Offering Chance to Win $100

January 13, 2020 By PhotoContest.org Leave a Comment

The annuity companies of Great American Insurance Group, leading providers of fixed and fixed-indexed annuities, announced the return of a popular campaign that invites annuity customers to submit photos of what makes their lives great. The campaign expanded this year to also accept videos and written stories.

The campaign last ran in 2018 and received more than 500 submissions, largely from retirees showcasing the unique experiences that Great American’s retirement solutions helped make possible. Photo submissions included safari rides with grandchildren, swimming with dolphins, gondola rides in Venice and exploring the Everglades by airboat, among others.

“We saw great success with this program in the past and are excited to bring it back for 2020,” said Donna Carrelli, Divisional Vice President of Annuity Marketing Services. “The number of submissions we received in 2018 surpassed our expectations, and we can’t wait to see what our customers share this time around.”

Carrelli hopes the campaign brings awareness to annuities and inspires others to start thinking about their own retirement goals.

“By sharing their photos, videos and stories, our customers may help others visualize their own retirement and consider how an annuity can help support their goals and income needs.” Carrelli continues, “Great American has a longstanding commitment to offering annuities that are easier to understand with no hidden fees or surprises. It’s rewarding to see how our commitment to keeping things simple is helping Great American customers live their retirement dreams. We truly appreciate their willingness to share their experiences.”

Customers can learn more about the contest and submit their photos, videos and stories at GAIG.com/LYLG.

In 2019, Great American showcased customers “living their lives great” through a five-part video series that highlighted the makings of great retirement. The videos featured five Great American annuity customers sharing their experiences and the financial stability annuities have helped provide in retirement. The series has received more than 400,000 views and is available at GAIG.com/GreatRetirements.
